Our Mission
At Moe's Shorty Jacks, our mission is to provide high-quality genetically healthy puppies that will become beloved members of their new families. We are dedicated to breeding genetically healthy, happy, and well-socialized puppies that will bring joy to their new families for many years to come.
- All of our Adult dogs have been genetically health tested with Embark. Our adult breeding stock have been confirmed "CLEAR" of "ALL" genetic health conditions known to affect the Jack Russells and Hunt Terriers.
- ALL of our puppies will be "CLEAR BY PARENTAGE" of "ALL" genetic health conditions known to affect the Jack Russells and Hunt Terriers.
- "CLEAR" means that these Dogs and Puppies are exactly that "CLEAR"
- They are not "CARRIERS" and are not "AFFECTED" by these Genetic Health Conditions that are known to cause problems not only for the dogs but also cause problems for their families in the future.
- EMBARK test for over 200 genetic health conditions. Currently there are "9" things that are considered to be Breed Relevant Genetic Health Conditions that are known to affect the Jack Russells and Hunt Terriers. BUT there are many other Non Breed Relevant Genetic Health Conditions that exist that really concern me so with that being said EMBARK is the right choice for our Breeding Program. We will not add a puppy to our breeding program if its parents have not been tested by EMBARK and verified to be a good fit for our program.
- Regardless whether Breed Relevant or Non Breed Relevant we will not risk a puppy or its future family being affected by a genetic health condition that we can prevent by using our EMBARK test results and good breeding practices. This is why we chose EMBARK for our Breeding Program.
- Genetic Health Testing Documentation of the Parents are provided with every one of our puppies.
